Tora-Stix Surf Guide
Tora-Stix in the Waiararpa is an exposed reef break that has fairly consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. The best wind direction is from the west northwest. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the optimum swell angle is from the south. The reef provides both left and right breaks. Best around low tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Submerged rocks are a hazard.
