Stompneus Surf Guide
Stompneus in Western Cape is a sheltered reef and point break that only works once in a while. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the southwest. Handles onshore winds better than most spots Groundswells are more common than windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. A reef breaks left and there is also a left hand point break. Rarely crowded here. Watch out for rocks.
