Punta de Brea Surf Guide
Punta de Brea in Puerto Rico is a reasonably exposed beach break that has pretty consitent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. The best wind direction is from the northwest with some shelter here from west northwest winds. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the southeast. Waves at the beach break both left and right. Even when the surf is up, crowds are unknown. Sharks may be a hazard at this break.
