Haga-Haga in East London is an exposed reef and point break that has inconsistent surf. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds blow from the northwest. Does not handle onshore winds very well Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southeast. There are left and right breaking reefs and there is a left hand point break too. A fairly popluar wave that can sometimes get crowded Beware of rips and sharks.
