Gibbs Surf Guide
Gibbs on the West Coast is a fairly exposed reef break that has quite reliable surf. Winter and spring are the favoured times of year to visit. Works best in offshore winds from the east northeast. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the best swell direction is from the north. A right hand reef. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Beware of urchins and rips.
