The Search Surf Guide
The Search in Puerto Rico is a fairly exposed reef break that has inconsistent surf. Offshore winds blow from the west northwest with some shelter here from west winds. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the southeast. There is no reef break. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Take care of urchins, rocks, private and locals.
