The Reef (Haifa) Surf Guide
The Reef (Haifa) in North of Tel Aviv is an exposed beach and reef break that has unreliable waves. Works best in offshore winds from the east southeast. Groundswells and windswells are equally likely and the ideal swell direction is from the west. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights and in addition there are both left and right reef breaks. Good surf at all stages of the tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Watch out for rocks.
