Snapper Point Surf Guide
Snapper Point on the North Coast is a sheltered reef break that only works once in a while. Autumn and winter are the best times of year for waves. The best wind direction is from the south with some shelter here from south winds. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the southeast. A right hand reef break. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Sharks have been reported here.
