San Juan Surf Guide
San Juan in Lanzarote is an exposed reef break that usually has waves, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Works best in offshore winds from the south southwest with some shelter here from southwest winds. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the north northwest. Primarily a left hand reef break, although a right is also possible.. Best around low tide. Beware of rocks / crowds.
