Rocky Head Surf Guide
Rocky Head in Far South Australia is a reasonably exposed point break that has fairly consistent surf. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the northwest. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the southwest. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Beware of rips, rocks and sharks.
