Petite Anse Surf Guide
Petite Anse in La Digue is an exposed beach and reef break that has reasonably consistent surf. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds blow from the northwest. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the ideal swell angle is from the southeast. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights together with both left and right hand reef breaks offshore. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Beware of rocks, rips.
