Passe de Maraa Surf Guide
Passe de Maraa in Tahiti is an exposed reef break that has fairly consistent surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds blow from the northeast. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the south. The reef provides both left and right breaks. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Beware of rips, urchins,rocks and sharks.
