Uploaded so this site can figure where the tide was at the time of this image taken just south of where the road turns inland at Oaro. That way we will get some idea of how much uplift there is here. My first impressions for the Kaikoura breaks is that high water is now about where low water used to be. That is going to have a big effect. North of here that uplift is greater still.
