Nine Palms Surf Guide
Nine Palms in Baja Sur is a fairly exposed reef and point break that has consistent surf. Summer offers the optimum conditions for surfing. Offshore winds blow from the northwest. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the south. A right hand reef. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Beware of urchins, rips, rocks, locals and pollution.
