Nettley Bay Reefs Surf Guide
Nettley Bay Reefs on the West Coast is an exposed reef break that has quite consistent surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Ideal winds are from the southeast with some shelter here from southwest winds. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the west. A choice of left and right reefs. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Rarely crowded here. Beware of rips and rocks.
