Mudjimba Island(Woman Island) on the North Coast is an exposed reef and point break that has very consistent surf Offshore winds blow from the west. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the east. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Beware of rocks, sharks, rips and jellyfish.
