La Timba Surf Guide
La Timba in Lima is an exposed reef break that is usually a safe bet. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds blow from the east northeast. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the southwest. The beach break provides left and right handers. Surfable at all stages of the tide. It very rarely gets crowded here. Hazards include urchins, rips and rocks.
