La Arena Surf Guide
La Arena in Pais Vasco is a fairly exposed beach break that has pretty consitent surf. Autumn and winter are the best times of year for waves. The best wind direction is from the south southeast. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the northwest. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Watch out for dangerous rips.
