Greenough Surf Guide
Greenough in North West WA is an exposed beach break that has very consistent surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the northeast and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the optimum swell angle is from the southwest. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. Good surf at all stages of the tide. A fairly popluar wave that can sometimes get crowded Watch out for dangerous rips.
