Dalmeny Point Surf Guide
Dalmeny Point in Far South Australia is an exposed reef break that does not work very often. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Works best in offshore winds from the west southwest with some shelter here from south winds. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the southeast. The right reef break is best, but there is a left reef too.. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Hazards include rocks, rips and sharks.
