Coopers Beach Surf Guide
Coopers Beach in Northland is a sheltered beach break that only works once in a while. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Offshore winds are from the south southeast with some shelter here from southeast winds. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell angle is from the north northeast. The beach break provides left and right handers. Crowds are never a problem here. Water quality is rather poor here.
