Photo de Surf de Charleston: 'Nile River, Charleston' par Rob Davies

The Nile river exits through a surprisingly narrow gorge. At high tide, when a big swell was running, we took our canoe and found waves surging up the river for 1km, far inland of the road-bridge. The pebble bars and reefs here look like they could provide some nice waves if the swell is small enough.
