Centreside Surf Guide
Centreside in Torquay is an exposed reef and point break that usually has waves, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Offshore winds are from the northwest. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the best swell direction is from the southwest. Best around mid tide when the tide is rising. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Dangerous rips are a hazard of surfing here.
