Cave Surf Guide
Cave in Ericeira is an exposed reef break that has unreliable waves. Summer in particular tends to be flat. The best wind direction is from the east. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the northwest. Best around low tide when the tide is falling. It very rarely gets crowded here. Beware of urchins, rips and rocks.
