Capo Vieste Surf Guide
Capo Vieste in Adriatic - Italy is an exposed sandbar break that only works once in a while. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the south southwest and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. The short fetch makes for windswells rather than groundswells and the ideal wave angle is from the north northwest. The sandbar break offers both left and right hand waves. Surfable at all stages of the tide. It very rarely gets crowded here. Watch out for dangerous rips.
