Buxton Point Surf Guide
Buxton Point on the East Coast is an exposed point break that does not work very often. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the west. Groundswells and windswells are equally likely and the ideal swell angle is from the east southeast. Best around low tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Beware of rips and rocks.
