Bunbury BP Reef Surf Guide
Bunbury BP Reef in Perth South Coast is a reasonably exposed reef break that only works when conditions are just right. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Works best in offshore winds from the east southeast. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the west. There is no reef break. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Beware of - Rocks - Localism.
