Boynton Tortuga Beach in South Florida is a fairly exposed sandbar break that has pretty consitent surf and can work at any time of the year. Works best in offshore winds from the west. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the east. Good surf at all stages of the tide. The location means that it never gets crowded. Beware of - Rips / undertow - Sharks.
