Boyndie Bay Surf Guide
Boyndie Bay on the East Coast is a fairly exposed beach and reef break that has pretty consitent surf. Winter and spring are the best times of year to visit. Offshore winds blow from the south. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the optimum swell angle is from the north northeast. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights and there are also left and right hand reef breaks on offer.. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Submerged rocks are a hazard.
