Black Rock on the North Coast is an exposed reef break that has dependable surf. Summer offers the favoured conditions for surfing. The best wind direction is from the west. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the best swell direction is from the northeast. A right hand reef break. Best around mid tide when the tide is falling. Sometimes crowded. Beware of rocks and locals.
