Benijo in Tenerife is an exposed reef break that has quite reliable surf and can work at any time of the year. The best wind direction is from the southeast with some shelter here from southeast winds. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the ideal swell direction is from the north. There is no reef break. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Hazards include rocks and locals.
