Bellochantuy Bay Surf Guide
Bellochantuy Bay on the West Coast is an exposed beach and reef break that has fairly consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Offshore winds blow from the east. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the best swell direction is from the west. The beach break provides left and right handers. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Be wary of rips - they make surfing here dangerous.
