Bears Beach in Far South New South Wales is an exposed reef break that is usually a safe bet, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Offshore winds blow from the west. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the south southeast. The reef breaks offer lefts and rights. Crowds are never a problem here. Beware of - Rips / undertow - Rocks - Localism - Sharks.
