Bamburgh in North East England is a fairly exposed beach break that has fairly consistent surf. Winter and spring are the best times of year to visit. Offshore winds are from the southwest. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the ideal swell direction is from the northeast. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Sometimes crowded. Surfing here means negotiating dangerous rips.
