Albufeira Surf Guide
Albufeira in The Algarve is a sheltered beach break. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Offshore winds are from the north northeast and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the south. The beach break offers mainly left hand waves. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up.
