Alassio Surf Guide
Alassio in West Coast of Italy is an exposed beach break that has unreliable waves. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds blow from the northwest and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. The short fetch makes for windswells rather than groundswells and the best wave direction is from the south. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Good surf at all stages of the tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water.
