Statistiques de Surf de Galheta do Sul

The rose diagram describes the combination of swells directed at Galheta do Sul through a typical October. It is based on 3223 NWW3 model predictions since 2006 (values every 3 hours). The wave model does not forecast wind or surf right at the coast so we have chosen the best grid node based on what we know about Galheta do Sul. In the case of Galheta do Sul, the best grid node is 30 km away (19 miles). The rose diagram shows the distribution of swell sizes and directions, while the graph at the bottom shows the same thing but lacks direction information. Five colours show increasing wave sizes.
