Bruny Island - Neck Bay Surf Stats

This chart describes the combination of swells directed at Bruny Island - Neck Bay through a typical May and is based upon 2838 NWW3 model predictions since 2007 (values every 3 hours). The wave model does not forecast surf and wind right at the shore so we have chosen the best grid node based on what we know about Bruny Island - Neck Bay. In the case of Bruny Island - Neck Bay, the best grid node is 28 km away (17 miles). The rose diagram shows the distribution of swell sizes and swell direction, while the graph at the bottom shows the same thing but without direction information.
