Constantine Surf:
‘Harlyn report: It's not much smaller than the other side but equally, it's no bigger either. The wind is driving in onshore and making a right old mess of those dribbly ripples that are splashing ashore. It's sunny and clear and bright but also chilly and breezy. No, not today thank you!’

7.am Saturday. Coney Beach is 1ft and Rest Bay is 2ft. Rest Bay should give us 2ft, maybe 3ft towards high tide but watch at high tide it will be up on the rocks. likely to be 2ft as the tide drops off this afternoon. Coney Beach is likely to be too small - maybe 1-2ft.

‘Constantine Bay report: It's a bright and cheerful morning, the wind from the north and stingingly cold, the surf washing in at less than a foot. Yesterday afternoon's couple of feet of onshore junk seems very sweet compared to this morning's lack of wave activity.’

‘Mid-Coast SA: Winds have gone round to a light offshore Easterly on the Mid Coast and conditions are clean and glassy early, with some leftover swell. Coming up to high tide around 7am there are a few 1' waves on the reefs with the odd 2' set, but the dropping tide will get into it in a couple of ours.’

‘Harlyn report: Yeah, yeah, yeah! Noooo! It's small and sloppy and grey and messy and bouncy and overcast and chilly and just not quite doing it really. Ma Simes Surf hut:
‘Whitesands Bay: 2 ft messy waves today with moderate to strong onshore winds. Only about 2 ft on sets on the incoming tide this morning, rather mushy waves this morning. It should improve a little bit after high tide with some 2-3 ft sets on the drop. Probably have a bit more grunt leading up to low this afternoon. 1-2 ft this evening. So messy 2 ft waves for most of the day probably best this afternoon. 1-2 ft tomorrow, 1-2 ft Sunday.’

But it's not all doom and gloom, at least there are waves!’
