Yachats in Oregon_South is an exposed beach and reef break that has reliable surf and can work at any time of the year. Works best in offshore winds from the east with some shelter here from north winds. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the best swell direction is from the west. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves and in addition there are both left and right reef breaks.. Best around mid tide. Rarely crowded here. Beware of rips and sharks.
