Sunnyside Bay on the East Coast is a sheltered reef break that has quite reliable surf. Winter and spring are the best times of year to visit. Offshore winds are from the south. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the ideal swell angle is from the north northeast. A choice of left and right reefs. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Watch out for rocks.
