South Stradbroke on the Gold Coast is an exposed beach break that has pretty consitent surf The best wind direction is from the west. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the east. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Sometimes crowded. Beware of sharks ,rocks and locals.
