Playa Parguito in Isla Margarita is an exposed beach break that has very consistent surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds are from the southwest. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the best swell direction is from the northeast. The beach break provides left and right handers. Surfable at all stages of the tide. It's sometimes crowded here. Beware of rocks and sharks.
