Playa Hermosa in Golfo de Nicoya is an exposed beach break that is usually a safe bet Offshore winds blow from the northeast. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the west. Waves at the beach break both left and right. It's sometimes crowded here. Surfing here means negotiating dangerous rips.
