Playa Azul in Michoacan is a quite exposed beach break that has very consistent surf. Summer offers the best conditions for surfing. Offshore winds blow from the north northeast. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the southwest. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Beware of rips and sharks.
