Ouvidor in Santa Caterina is a reasonably exposed beach break that has fairly consistent surf. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. Ideal winds are from the northeast. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the northeast. Waves at the beach are both lefts and rights. It's sometimes crowded here. Beware of rips and rocks.
