Nao Nao in Raiatea is an exposed reef break that has reasonably consistent surf Offshore winds are from the northwest. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southeast. A right hand reef break. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Beware of coral,urchin, rips, rocks and sharks.
