Mussels in Swakopmund is an exposed reef break that only works once in a while. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds are from the east northeast. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the best swell direction is from the west southwest. The reef provides both left and right breaks. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Watch out for sharks,seals and rocks.
