Mera in Kanagawa and Chiba is an exposed reef break that does not work very often. Summer offers the optimum conditions for surfing. The best wind direction is from the northeast. Most of the surf comes fis in the form of windswells and the ideal wave angle is from the south. The reef provides both left and right breaks. Rarely crowded here. Rocks are a hazard.
