Mangersta Sands in Lewis is an exposed beach break that has fairly consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. The best wind direction is from the northeast. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell angle is from the west. Waves at the beach are both lefts and rights. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Surfing here means negotiating dangerous rips.
